The last few Sundays we have been working through 1 Corinthians, chapter 15. This is a chapter in the Bible that deals largely with the resurrection, that grand event on the last day when Jesus, our Savior and Lord, will raise all from the dead. The apostle Paul made clear in the first half of the chapter that the hope we have in this promised event is central to our faith and life, and it is so because Jesus himself is raised from the dead. Not even death will separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. That is a big deal!!

To help develop the most complete understanding of life, death and the resurrection I want to share with you a couple of resources to supplement our Sunday morning class.

Below is a link to a couple of videos with Dr. Jeffery Gibbs and a few other professors from our seminaries. They are discussing this topic and I think they do a great job.

I hope this is helpful for you in your study. Remember, going to heaven when you die is nice, but it is not the whole story...not even close!
