Operated by members of Faith Lutheran Church in Gainesville, Texas, this resale store collects donations of clothing, household furniture, kitchen appliances, and much more.  Volunteers from the church and community sort it, clean it and offer it up for sale at low cost.  Cooke county residents find "vintage" clothing, Halloween costumes, much-needed clothing for school or work along with all kinds of treasures for the home.  Every so often, in partnership with other local agencies, Helping Hands of Faith will provide furniture and clothing at no cost to families who have met great loss from unimaginable hardships.

At the end of the year, the leadership of Helping Hands selects local service organizations and returns nearly all the proceeds back to the community in the form of much-needed grants.  Women's shelters, food banks, child advocacy groups, fire and police departments, and so many others receive grants varying in size from a few hundred to thousands of dollars.  Helping Hands of Faith is a tremendous blessing to the Gainesville area.
